Hello, my name is Frank Spohr. I've been designing web pages since the year 2000. At the young age of 14, I made my first site. By age 15, I had my first client and have been doing business ever since then. I am based near St. Louis, MO with many of my clients located in the surrounding areas. This has not stopped me from working virtually for clients as far away as Colorado and California.

Over the years I have spent countless hours refining my web design skills and knowledge. This has lead to my ability to create websites that provide easy navigation for web visitors, present my clients in a professional manner, and most importantly allow clients to reach audiences they never would have had access to in the offline world.

My Design Philosophy

One of my pet peeves is "design for the sake of design". My nature is much more practical. The web sites I design are primarily for businesses. This means I do not try to sell people on flashy things unless something flashy is actually needed. Some designers try to wow prospective clients with sites built entirely in Flash. This is not my style. Flash sites have poor visibility on search engines. How do you expect to make sales when no one can find you on Google? They also present another viewing obstacle for visitors with slow computers and outdated browsers. Please do not mistake this for Flash hatred. There are times where Flash can be very useful. Some examples are image galleries, alternate product views, slide shows, and quizes. I will never recommend design strategies that look good on the surface, but end up hurting you.
